Privacy Policy

What we store

• Your Google account email, name, and account id — used only to know whose notebook is whose.
• The expressions you save: the text, the meaning, any example, note, tags, and a one-line note ChatGPT writes about what the conversation was about.
• How many times you saved each expression and when. This is the feature — it is how Malmoa knows you looked something up before.
• A hashed token that keeps your ChatGPT connector signed in.

What we do not receive

Malmoa does not read your conversations. It receives only what a tool call sends — the expression you chose to save, and what you asked to store with it. We do not use ads, analytics, or third-party trackers, and we never sell anything we hold.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with Supabase (Oregon) and served from Fly.io (California), both in the United States. If you are elsewhere, your data is transferred there.

Who else sees it

• ChatGPT — when you ask for something back, it appears in your conversation. That is the point of the app, and it means OpenAI handles it under their terms.
• Supabase stores the database. Fly.io runs the server. Neither uses your data for anything of their own.
• Google handles signing in. They tell us your email, name, and account id — nothing about what you save.

No one else. No advertisers, no analytics, no data brokers.

How long we keep it

A vocabulary notebook is worth more the longer it runs, so we keep what you save for as long as your account exists. We do not expire it on a schedule.

You end it, not a timer. Delete an expression and it goes immediately, along with the record of how many times you saved it. Ask us to delete your account and everything goes with it.

Deleting your data

You can remove any saved expression by asking ChatGPT — it is deleted along with its save history and cannot be recovered.

There is no in-app way to delete your whole account yet. Email support@practly.io and we will delete your account and everything in it. Disconnecting the connector stops access but does not delete data.
